Phnom Penh heritage visit

Do you know about the heritage mission? It’s a kind of organization which works to preserve the Phnom Penh heritage (non-angkor heritage) buildings in the cooperation with French embassy. Yeah, I joint a visit organized by the heritage mission around Wat Phnom (the born area of Phnom Penh) yesterday. I had been introduced to know many 19s and late 20s architectural works. They are great buildings with french and french-khmer styles. Some of them have been restored well and they are used as restaurant, hotel, state admin building.etc. But some were already demolished or are used as shelters anarchistically. I was very sorry to see such status. I have some photos to show but for the next post! Hope you come visit here again!
